The Villa at Chase Park is an exclusive nursing care home based in the heart of Whickham. With our specialist multi-disciplinary care team, we cater to individuals with a wide range of needs offering a high support-to-resident ratio. As well as the beautiful views of our Japanese-style accessible gardens, and convenient in-house café, our 30-bed nursing villa ensures residents enjoy a tranquil and comfortable environment. We are next door to Chase Park and Whickham Town Centre.

Nursing Care in Beautiful Rooms
Residents are provided with homely, spacious, private accommodation equipped with ensuite bathrooms, including walk-in showers or wet rooms. The Villa is designed to provide independence while offering the reassurance of 24-hour care when needed. The Villa also has two designated living rooms, a dining room, and a glass conservatory looking over our fantastic gardens.
In addition, we offer step-down services for individuals who wish to return to community living. We also have two respite rooms and two dedicated end-of-life suites, providing a range of options to meet our resident’s needs.
Depending on eligibility criteria, NHS-funded nursing care is available for those who qualify.

Our location benefits from being next to the beautiful Chase Park and local shops and services and is set in our beautifully landscaped gardens.
We have an on-site health club with facilities specifically designed to be fully accessible for people of all ages and abilities. There is a therapy gym with balance, cycling equipment and strengthening equipment. A coffee shop within the health club allows residents and families to socialise and obtain refreshments throughout the morning and afternoon.
Our unique hydrotherapy suite is discreetly situated at the back of the Health Club. We have a hydrotherapy pool, spa whirlpool and accessible changing areas with overhead tracking hoists throughout to assist where required.
Our team includes a dedicated activities coordinator enabling residents to participate in activities of interest. From arts and crafts to outdoor games and music events – the choice is yours!
